Jamie, wow... You should know that we all do give a damn. We are all scared shitless. The joint we pass around, is a cover up, with every hit we take we hope to cover up our problems, but only to discover that it only makes it worse. Drugs are indeed horrible, but for some reason we always think it to be some sort of band-aid solution. Every single one of us is scared of what the future holds for us. Unfortunately we will all split up, go our own separate ways, and in that time we will grow up and apart. It is a scary thought, but all of us at one point think about it. The mistakes we make benefit to the person we become later on in life. We can’t always learn from doing things correctly all the time. It’s completely normal to be scared about these things, it’s also good that you are, it shows that you are concerned and determined not to screw up. I know that in 2 years I will be in New Orleans at Loyola, majoring in music. Knowing that I have a little bit of my future planned out gives me a little more sense of security,

i kno wwhat you are saying exactly growing up thinking pot is a way to leave everything behind and forget what i know to inhale and it all be gone and me be something im not to let you guys see me for someone im not to think that what i do and how i act is ok when its not to see my family smoke it out and not even a thought the smell travels through my house when someone visits when someone stays and when i am alking around. we all gothrough these so called teen years the hardest years of our lives which i agree but what did the kids in the 50's and 60's do to escape how they felt and what they want they surely didnt smoke. so i have to coment that there are people that care and people who are there in the same boat and understand that that last toke was a blur but then again most of us smoke to block out and ignore what is really going on to see something we couldnt see befor ..... so the next time you take a hit with your friends with me with anyone think to yourself im not alone cus i/we all have the same things on our mind and

You both are right. But what else can you think, when you know that your not good at anything. I might like photgraphy but never really pursued anything in it, or I like art, but can't draw or paint, just a little ceramics and pottery, I could go and study it at college, but what career would I take into action? I also like graphic design but before i finsih, the computer would get the best of me, and I love to write but there are days when my hand hurts so much, and I can't write about anything else but love, depression and lies within. You think with that I could take something into consideration, but there is nothing, and I have nothing to fall back on. It's like, when our parents don't graduate from high school and dont go off to college, we must, and I want to, but they expect us to plan our lives up so quickly, they want us to find a job that pays a lot so we dont have to hurt like they did, they dont want us to get lucky like they did because there is that possiblity that we wont, and so, they push and push with this furture
