Conceptually, it's not that odd. It's supposedly good work. The brother of a friend of mine works in a funeral home.

I don't know how the connection to your brother won't end up feeling odd, however. Maybe that is imposing how I think on you, however.

I did hair for many years. I didn't do funeral work as a mainstay, but was commisioned to a few times. It didn't bother me. as long as you have a healthy attitude toward death you should be fine. It's funny we both managed for the same company and now you're doing hair as well.

I say give it a try. If its two things you obviously enjoy or have an interest in, then you should go for it.

Worse to worse, you find out you dont want to do it, but find something else which will fit you better.
