Something Beautiful Died in my Hands Today

Actually, it was a few days ago, but I should have posted it here.

It was a monarch butterfly I found on the side of the road in Marblehead. I thought it was a leaf but it was an injured butterfly.

Couldn't fly.
Missing two legs.

I put my finger out and the poor thing climbed onto it then into my palm and I walked back to my car with him and Mike
