She said she has been examining my full health records and she needs to clarify some points and ask me some specific questions. She says I'll probably have to go through some more tests again. Specifically a glucose blood test, which I ( Read more... )

If I give two bucks, does that mean I get to get it on with you twice? lol.

At least if the doctor can definitely pinpoint it to the bc, then you know what to do to feel better.

You don't need to donate the money to get it on with me. I thought that was the plan for tomorrow...heh, don't get me all excited about nothing! I already read the code orange alert. Seriously, we will all have a lot of fun.

As for the BC thing, my sex life is seriously going to suffer if I have to take myself off that.

I hope the new tests will provide you with some better answers. I'd never heard of the possibility of BC *causing* diabetes. I wonder how long pills stay in your system after you stop taking them. Perhaps you can do a trial period of not being on the pill and retake the glucose tests to make sure it is actually the pill that's mucking things up.

In addition to the Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) test, she'll probably want to do a hemoglobin A1c test as well. It measures the average amount of sugar in your blood over the last 3 months.

I would help donate. We don't have to have sex. :P

As for children, I've thought of it both ways. Having my own child, if it happens, is something special. However, if I adopt, I won't feel the loss. There are too many children born today to parents who cannot afford them. It's a shame, really.
