Over one million men and women showed up to for the protest. This is being called the largest recorded protest in Washington. And yay! I was there!

I'm reminded of a bumper sticker that says, "The Media Are Only As Liberal As The Conservative Businesses That Own Them".

Sounds like an amazingly powerful experience. My friend Lauren who came down from New Paltz for the event with 40 or so other women hasn't stopped raving about it, she was so excited!

I'm curious, what did your sign say?

My sign said on the front side, "Run George Run the Feminists are Coming" and on the back it said "My body my choice, keep your laws off my body"

Awesome post!

You yelling at the anti-choice assholes was the only time I have ever seen you truly fiercly angry, and I don't think I ever need to see that directed at me. I'm sure it got to them seeing and hearing a bunch of strong women yell right back at them. I don't think it changes their views any, but I'm sure you all made a few of them feel like 2 inches tall because you didn't take their shit.
