xxxmariposaxxx, my friend Sarah and I had such a goddamn fun day out today. We woke up early and travelled out to Mystic CT to first visit the Aquarium and then do some shopping around the Mystic Village. It was so much fun and excitement

I find the whole Zoo/Aquarium thing to be kind of revolting in itself. Its all packaged up and fed to the consumer. The very aspect of standing in line to touch a piece of nature is depressing

I have to agree with your point on our world and the natural things that are becoming more and more un-natural, pretty soon we'll be inside of a huge dome or bubble as all the trees will be gone making the governments money, {paper comes from trees}, then all the oxygen will gone as well.

The government is allowing the slaughter of our animals by the thousands, as well as our very own children. I'm getting ready to bust wide open the government approved pedo-porn ring within child protective services which is nation wide within the usa!

Hummm sorry how the heck did I go from having a fun day with a gf and talking about cunts to this? Perhaps because the womans vagina and womb are sacred as they house and birth our children which in turn are in danger!!!!

I have never been to a natural park that did not have a packaged feel to it because even if it is free to get in they still are trying to appeal to consumerism.

And while I agree with natural habitat observing that is only going to go so far. Most of the animals that I saw at the aquairium cannot be tagged and left alone in their natural environment because humans have fucked up their natural way of life. The endagered species would stand such a slim chance of living back in the ocean in regards to pollution, hunting, and our hold over the oceans.

There really isn't a such thing as a natural habitat even because just about every natural square inch has been touched by humans and has evidence of our control there.

I didn't mean to debate the integrity of true science, I understand that a lot of what goes on now would be aganist true science but I can see how we shaped goals of science to work for domination.

I agree with what you say about knowledge.

1. I think we should send a letter to the aquarium telling them our concerns and about how they should consider expanding the tank size for the big creatures (whales & sea lions)...and encourage them to have a program/exhibit on how people can help to preserve & restore marinelife environments. Considering how many visitors the place gets, and young kids especially, such suggestions could really have an impact.

2. Cunt cultural revitilization. Totally. Hmm...you've got my wheels spinning. Next semester, I think the PSA with the Women's Center should sponsor a teach-in about cunts. Could you get the name of the woman who came to ECSU with the coloring books? I think this could be really cool. We could have like a 3X thing, where everyone who attends needs to talk to at least 3 of their female friends about cunts, and get the ball rolling.

Ohh you have such good ideas! We should write letters, I'll definetly do that. And a teach in about cunts would be the coolest. I do have that woman's contact info and she has all sorts of genital displays and cool stuff. There is also a nurse that comes to Eastern who talks about genital health and STD's and I have heard that she is great.

Glad as hell to hear about your fun day. Mystic is cool. Did you know they filmed part of the movie "Amistad" at Mystic Seaport?

It's maddening as fuck to think how a lot of mankind historically just doesn't get the point about the environment; especially those in power. Deforestation was already a problem in England 400 years ago. And what about the American Bison? It was pointless hunting that almost wiped them out (there were actually train tours in the late 1800's where people would shoot buffalo from train windows as they went through the Great Plains).....

It almost makes me ashamed to be a human.
