Work has been sucking so fuckin much. I am exhausted to the core from tonight and last night. Ugh. Double and triple ugh. It's been a fuckin zoo at that goddamn store but hopefully shit will settle down for tomorrow. Hi... I got your link from audiguy, I hope you don't mind me commenting here...
I actually live in Chicago, and yes, we sometimes seem to have delays. I think Midway is less than O'hare.... maybe if you are flying Southwest, you'll end up on that tv show on A+E network...
I know how bad flying is for some people.. I hope your trip in the air is calm and uneventful.

You're welcome....
United is a good airline... or used to be..... O'hare is huge.... but if your connecting flight is also the same airline, it may not be so bad.... when I traveled so much, it always seemed my connecting flight was a mile away at the very last gate...lol
I'm sure yours won't be as bad...

It's very nice to meet you also.... :)

After talking to my sister who flies a lot I'm a bit worried. According to her most every united airways layover in chicago has the connecting flight in a completely different gate then the flight coming in. At least with what she's experienced.

Personally I kinda find that hard to believe, but that's going to really suck if you have to walk clear across the airport.

I did a little research on the flight your taking. Namely the connecting flight in Chicago. I simply looked at what happened today as if you were flying today. The problem with your stats is there for a typical day for all incoming flights. So there not really accurate for the middle of the summer on United. I wish they would let me look at a complete weeks worth but they won't.

Connecting flight in Chicago on Sat Aug 14th
----------------------------------------------
Arrival Chicago, IL (ORD)
Sat, Aug 14
Scheduled: 8:40 PM
Actual: 8:28 PM
Terminal 1 Concourse C
Gate: C30

Departure Chicago, IL (ORD)
Sat, Aug 14
Scheduled: 9:35 PM
Actual: 9:33 PM
Terminal 1 Concourse C
Gate: C11

If you were on that plane you would of arrived in Chicago 12 min early. The walk from C30 to C11 wouldn't of been all that hard. Its within the same gate area. We can also see what happens on sunday. The flight is a regular flight that they do everyday so its fairly routine.

That shows a map which if I remember some of that concourse, it may be a 2 block walk... ok, maybe 3...

Nonetheless, inter-state flights are cool... Inter-Asia flights are so bloody expensive. :(

The old workplace gets mobbed every holiday season; good luck with your sanity on Christmas..hhehehe

Have a safe trip and a good time. ^_^

Take one of your textbooks with you on the plane. If it's boring enough, it'll put you to sleep, making the whole flight easier for you.
