We formed a Psychology Club on campus. I ran against 3 other people and was elected as the president. I had to give a speech. I am very excited about this and look forwards to proving myself as a leader. I have a lot of good ideas for the club and I feel confident that I can do well

Of course you are a leader! I think that as women, we are socialized to not be leaders...to be the support for someone else who takes the reins, and any time we step outside of that, we feel really surprised to have it in us.
