I'm fairly bummed that I just found out about and therefore missed the Dead of Winter: Satan on Screen film series they're showing at the Brattle theater. Most appropriate film series ever. All of the things are dead, there is no sunlight, and the only source of warmth is toast, which I eat constantly ( Read more... ) -

Oh yeah and I totally brought in the new year by peeing in a park by a beautiful frozen pond. It was EXCELLENT.
