I felt similar to you. . . then I found dancing. Many people automatically label it is only something for women and gay people, but dancing (specifically Argentine Tango) has changed my life . . . I lov life so much now. . .
When we are little children we intuitively dance. We let our body move on its own to music, we express the feelings inspired inside us. Then we grow up and somehow our culture teaches many of us that it is silly to dance...or in some way degrading or....any of the stigmas attached.
At any rate, I find it completely freeing, and that when I am dancing words that I cannot say are expressed through my motion. You silently connect with another soul in an intimate, yet pure way. Emotions that can not verbally be expressed are thought of... It's. just. wonderful. Let me know if you ever want to try it. :)

I mean, hey I'm open to anything and I certainly wouldn't label something 'gay'.. what do you think it is about dancing that helps so much?
