I've noticed I've been a LOT more paranoid lately. About like...EVERYTHING. I'm afraid of someone breaking into the house, the house catching on fire when I'm asleep, a gas leak, my car breaking down, my car running out of gas, getting fired from my job, somehow dyeing while I'm asleep, having Toxic Shock Syndrome, my tongue being infected ( Read more... )

CoD may have a mental health service that should be free of charge to students - make an appointment with a counselor and see if you talk some of these problems out. It might make you feel better.

Also, going off of Dani's post, are you on any new meds? I doubt that any new medication would make you have any mental side effects, but we can't rule out anything. How much are you smoking each day? (Hopefully no more than a pack?) Does your heart feel okay? Do you feel like your going under in a panic attack? Do you drink a lot of energy drinks/coffee?

Take some time for yourself to relax - if you're drinking a lot of coffee or energy drinks, cut yourself off. It's possible that it's making you feel anxious and not able to relax.

Is there anything on your mind in particular that you're worried about the most?

Very true...I'll have to check that out. I just don't have a lot of money I can spend freely on this kind of thing, and I think my parents will just chalk it up to some habit I have x_x ( ... )
