tattoos are fuuuuun. just make sure you decide on something you really want (for obvious reasons), something that's really unique/meangingful to you. i'm sure you already knew that. you seem like a girl that knows what she wants and i'd doubt you'd make a decision that you'll end up regretting. :) my personal motto was "if you're gonna go for it, go big." so i did, sorta. for my first tatt at least. i got a zipper that goes down my back. it hurt like a bitch but i love it.

warning: believe it when people say tattoos are addicting! :P
