Jumping slightly Watari turned around facing the voice. He knew when he'd first heard the teleportation, but he wanted so badly for it not to be true. It still stung to see and hear Muraki knowing the other had just been caught. ". . . Kazutaka . . ." His voice broke slightly and he forced himself not to say anything else for a moment as he tried to reinforce the wall holding back his emotions.
His efforts seemed almost in vain as he saw the girl Muraki had dragged with him. Seeing Wakaba his mind began forcing the pieces from earlier back together. His mind was working full force trying to find something to say, to do, something that would make this all okay . . . even if somewhere in the back of his mind he knew there was absolutely no way this would ever be okay.
"Kazutaka . . . I think . . . we're going to need to talk about this . . ." He said looking back up at the other with pain-filled yet almost cold eyes.
A range of emotions washed over Tatsumi. He was mortified that yet another one of his colleagues was seeing him in his current condition. He was relieved (and worried) for Wakaba. And, as much as he hated Muraki, he felt a great deal of sympathy for Watari. The pain the blonde was feeling was almost palpable, and he silently swore that he would make the doctor pay for causing his friend such emotional distress.
He tugged at his restraints, though he knew it would do him no good. Maybe though, if Muraki focused on him, Wakaba would have a chance to escape...
As soon as she could see within the darker room Muraki had brought her to, Wakaba’s fear momentarily melted into concern as she saw Watari and then, more shockingly, Tatsumi, naked and chained up onto the wall

Muraki tried to take it all in. He'd been caught by the one person in the world he'd been trying to keep the terrible truth from - and after he'd promised him nothing like this would ever happen again.
"Yes..." he replied slowly, trying to keep his face as straight as he could - not wanting to show any signs of the situation affecting him at all, "We do... but not here. Lets go somewhere a little more private." The last thing he needed was either of the other two jumping in and making things more difficult than they already were!
He shifted his gaze to the shadow master as the man rattled his chains and the girl tried to help him get free. "You can not open them - they are magical bindings which will only respond to me. All you are doing is draining your own power."
Closing his eyes for a moment Watari took a shaky breath. He hoped no one in the room noticed the tremor as he forced back the emotional turmoil that threatened to spill over once again. A small hoot caused him to look up and he took the few steps over to 003's cage. He reached trough the glowing bars to pet her gently. The gesture was enough to return him to his usually calm self. With a grateful look to her he returned to where he was standing and turned to Muraki.
As humiliating as it would be Watari knew he wouldn't - couldn't - leave the others down here alone. There was no guarantee that he'd be able to convince the doctor to let them free and he wasn't going to abandon them. He'd learned from his mistakes before.
"No . . . I'm not leaving them down here. If you want to talk in private you're going to have to let them go. Otherwise we're talking right here in front of them." Watari said with determination. He was stubborn and either Tatsumi, Wakaba and 003 were going free or they'd be talking right there in front of them.
