Here are a list of commonly asked questions.
01. Do I have to use your prompts?
Yes. It's part of the challenge.
02. What's with the prompts being broken up into sets?
It's just a way for me to break up prompts that have something in common. Don't worry about it.
03. What's the deadline?
There is none, except that I ask you post within the first month of staking a claim on each claim you make. I would really like you to post once a month (minimum) after that as well.
04. What's the deal with word count?
There are no minimum or maximum word count guidelines. You can have anything from a novel on down for each prompt.
05. Can I post my fiction anywhere else?
Yes, you can do whatever you want with it. I do enjoy free advertising, though. (aka, mentioning that you wrote it for this community would be awesome but isn't required.)
06. Can I claim originals?
Yup.
07. Can I do yaoi/yuri/mpreg/incest/etc?
Yes you can. Whatever you want to. Just please mark anything that is rated "R" or "M" on either rating scale as such. We have some younger writers here too.
08. If I choose a single person, can I do fiction with pairings?
As long as you are focused on that person, sure, just try not to make all of your pieces pairing pieces.
09. Can I claim something that's already been claimed?
Nope, sorry.
