I really hope the fact that a fair portion of songs I've started to write have been crappy pop songs isn't an indicator that crappy pop songs are my future in music writing. I feel like a wannabe Taylor Swift right now (I love TSwift but musically I don't want to be her.) I just spent an hour writing out lyrics to a melody that I got in my head.
