When separating an egg just now, I clumsily got a tiny bit of yolk in with the egg white in the mixer bowl. Years ago, I would have felt obligated to try beating the egg white anyway, but now I have accepted that that would be folly. I got out a new egg out of the refrigerator (oh, alas for the one I'd so carefully warmed to room temperature!),

At this point, I'm just happy to be able to make something which gives her pleasure to eat. That's the reason she also gets the occasional snack sized Milky Way bar!
