I got a postcard today which told me that I've been invited to a VIP travel seminar, and the invitation includes a "fabulous 3, 4, 5, or 7 Night Cruise aboard Carnival, Royal Caribbean or MSC Cruise Lines

A ballroon is where maroons gather. The sort of maroons who think cruises are a good idea. I'm sure that noroviruses are involved.

It's so close to "balloon" and thus ought to be full of fun and bounciness, but it just doesn't manage it.

It could be the kind of balloon that catches fire.

And then smells really bad as the plastic or rubber lies on the ground, smoldering.
