I'm sure you know where I stand on the straight edge thing. I was once drug/alcohol free too. I never used the label "Straight Edge" unless some lame kid at school asked if that's what I was, then I would just say, "yes." Mostly to shut them up and to not have to go into detail about it. I too was afraid to fall victim of alcoholism, also because of my father's past. It was out of fear though. I can go out and have a few drinks and it can in fact make for some wonderful times. I know when to stop, and I never put myself or others in danger, so why the hell not

thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my rant. it feels really good to get that off my chest, and to know people are behind me in my decisions is such a great feeling. you're such a wonderful boy, thank you so much darlin :) <3
you dont need to be 'edge' to not do drugs and drink. personally, i consider 'edge' people to be ones who are completely adverse to drugs/alcohol and mostly anyone who uses them. and i assume you dont have a problem with them, but just choose not to do them. which is just as admirable. so yeah. whatever.
sucka MCs betta get they head straight. thats all i gotta say about that.
