have they *ever had a sam centric POV? I cant remember one and Ive seen them all. *le sigh =( this is what makes the boys relationship *seems so unbalanced. We feel like we know dean in and out ALL his issues have been examined but poor sam is this mystery figure even after all these years. Even his sacrifice with lucy feels undermined because we dont know ...

I'm sure they have but I'm running out the door to work so I can't recall. I think the problem is they were afraid to do it because they didn't want him to look unsympathetic, which is stupid, since the fans worked it over pretty good in fanfic. I dunno. I feel like there's a lot of potential, but now they're scared of underplaying his trauma so they're just handwaving it, which is also stupid.

Glad to add to head-canon! I think after the fans were like, "meathooks and red lighting? Really?" they've erred on the side of not showing anything when they should be going all out. Why not, I mean, hey, season seven right?

Awesome, to the nth degree!!! Loved Sam's daily routines, listening to Lucifer's non-stop torment while co-existing with Dean. I especially liked the doctor visit, which was equal parts hilarious and chilling. But, the ending was made of win, as Sam made sure that he and Dean took up all the space, leaving none for old Luci. :)
