America, how can I write a holy litany in your silly mood?

I wrote another poem tonight. My dad asked me what the title meant. I told him that my title's don't usually have anything to do with the poem. I once wrote a poem about someone going insane, and the title was called "shared biscuits". It wasn't a very good poem. It was a sestina, so there ya go. Great poem! I love the line "And you're not quite twisted but thoroughly bent." There's mad rhythm there.

I don't know much about poetry, so I don't know who Allen Ginsberg is. I did try to read Walt Whitman, but I don't like his poems. They're too rambling or something. I like Tolkien's poems a lot better.

that Allen Ginsberg poem I link its pretty recent. It has lines like "Go fuck yourself with your atom bomb" and "My national resources consist of two joints of marijuana millions of genitals an unpublishable private literature that goes 1400 miles and hour and twentyfivethousand mental institutions" Its a great poem.
