He wouldn't leave. He said he wants to stay for at least a few more years!

As stupid as Vince may be at times, he won't release Chris. Vince knows Miss Carter would snatch him up in a heartbeat!

You know, if all of this is true, then WWE is being ridiculously petty. You can't assume Jericho is going to leave the company when "Downfall" is only a six episode show. It's not like he's all of a sudden racked up on potential movie roles outside of WWE Films. If that were the case, then I'd say that WWE's worries would be just. (I mean, look at The Rock.) But this is just silly.

And I don't understand this: ...and his new gig has caused many to fear he'll get others in the entertainment business that would cause him to take another hiatus from WWE.Again, if this is true, why would WWE even be under that impression? Why weren't they thinking like that when he did that FUSE show? I mean, if Craig Robinson (from The Office) can do "Last Comic Standing" and the VH1 Hip Hop Honors after The Office closes up its season, then why can't Chris do things on the side without talk of him wanting to take a hiatus? Now I understand that Craig's situation may be different because, unlike Chris, he's on a show that has breaks, but still. I don't ( ... )

You know, I didn't look at it from that angle, but that is so true. ABC is pretty far out there when you think of Vince and his VH1/NBC ties. (I didn't know that bit about Fuse, though, but I knew the rest.)

But yeah, I think you hit it on the head with that analysis. I agree.
