Up to doing some heat packs now. Most of the other pain has subsided now. But I'm thinking I did myself some tendon damage going down. Tore my jeans at the knee (opposite leg) when I went down too. Not a good way to start a 3-day weekend.

NSAIDs, along with RICE.

You probably did something like strain the talofibular ligament (top front outside of the foot, attaches to the tibia)

Yup, sounds about right. Managed to smack my knee on the other leg going down too. Or, as we like to call it "Failed my DEX check".
