There is an upside to all of this. I can telework. It's encouraged, and it means I don't have to deal with the roads today. I'd love to get out of the house, but I'd much rather chill here, work from home, and still be able to be somewhat sociable.

Now I'm going to turn up the thermostat a degree or 2, because my toes are cold.

Well, it turns out that I did have a dead (dying) video card in my laptop. Fortunately, my laptop has 2. It was a less than simple matter of getting into it to swap the cards around. But that was only for want of a special size of small screwdriver. Once secured (thank you Dark Dreamer), the video cards came out easy. I swapped the good one ( Read more... )
