But I still feel better for it. I passed my Security+ exam today. That means I'm allowed to be an administrator on government computer systems. And, if I have my information still correct, this is a "lifetime" certification. So, unlike a real certification, I don't have to do this again

There is an upside to all of this. I can telework. It's encouraged, and it means I don't have to deal with the roads today. I'd love to get out of the house, but I'd much rather chill here, work from home, and still be able to be somewhat sociable.
Now I'm going to turn up the thermostat a degree or 2, because my toes are cold.
I'm not even going to measure it yet. It's still coming down, and probably will continue for the rest of the day. But we've been lucky, of sorts. The roof repair seems to be holding good, no signs of any water coming in. Power is still on, and the heat pump seems to be working fine. The only major thing on my agenda today is to clear a path to

Your head rules most things but your heart rules others, and getting them to meet in the middle takes a lot of your energy some days.
Well, it turns out that I did have a dead (dying) video card in my laptop. Fortunately, my laptop has 2. It was a less than simple matter of getting into it to swap the cards around. But that was only for want of a special size of small screwdriver. Once secured (thank you Dark Dreamer), the video cards came out easy. I swapped the good one
