This was written after the whole Massachusetts ordeal. It touches on a little more than gay marriage. She talks about Kerry, which is old news. But she still makes some vital points.
This is a tough issue and I respect your opinions about it. Stewart did make some good points. He clearly won the debate. His interrupting numerous times helped, but it's politics, so you'll have that. However, I simply cannot support gay marriage because I believe that it is completely immoral. If gay marriage is legalized, where do we draw the line? What is next? Legalizing marriage between siblings?

"Marriage is just a term anyway."
I think that says it all. It doesn't mean anything anymore. That's the problem. People take marriage too lightly.
Yep. But anyway, again, good points. You would make homosexuals very gay. (as in, happy. heh.) Ignore me. It's late.
Yay for friendly debates. They're my fav.
Seriously? Sibling marriages? Compelling... and rich. We don't even have that in Noble! I do have a friend that is dating her brother's wife's brother. Confusing. Aka: her sister-in-law's brother. And I know of people who have gotten drunk and had sex with their 2nd cousins. But those don't even compare.

The sibling marriage thing was a bit of a stretch. There's an ongoing joke in Alabama (North Alabama, at least) that Lawrence County is full of inbreeding.
