It was Billy's idea that they should meet up somewhere outside the Avengers Tower to talk. Some place where they wouldn't have God only knew who listening in on their conversations. Some place where they could relax

The urge to throw something at the Vision was strong. Only the fact that Billy would no doubt block Teddy's reach kept him from grabbing for the little glass cylinders at the end of the table and chucking them at the robot's head. ("I'm afraid I'm going to have to report you for aggravated a-salt, young man. Look what you've done to those poor eggs.")
The failed attempt to flirt between Tommy and Kate did not precisely help matters, not any more than Tommy's abrupt change in attitude. "Did both of you forget to install your tact modules today?" Teddy asked

Damn. Had he lodged his foot in his mouth again? The Vision ducked his head in apology. But they needed all the information Tommy could give them.
Before he could apologize or defend himself or both, the table jerked and upset the nearest glass of water into his lap. He yelped, surprised, and grabbed a handful of napkins to sop up the mess. It wasn't that it was particularly dangerous for him to be wet - he was undamaged at the moment, after all, no open circuits or anything - but it certainly wasn't pleasant. Thank goodness for holograms - if he had been wearing regular pants, the wet spot would have been embarrassing.
He spared a glance up when Teddy spoke. He was right; and while the Vision didn't begrudge Mrs. Xanathos the customers, The Devil's Due probably wasn't a very good place for a clandestine meeting.
"[Teddy's correct. May I suggest that we continue this conversation later somewhere else?]" Hopefully somewhere where someone could smack him upside the head of he started nibbling on his kneecap again.
Cassie covered her mouth when she yawned. She knew she hadn't gotten enough sleep, she just didn't expect it to sneak up on her so suddenly.
"Maybe we should meet sometime else?" She managed to say before yawning again. "I think... I'd better go sleep and," She pushed her empty plate away. "Nevermind, I'll nap here." She folded her arms on the table and her face fell on top of them.
Tommy bit back a yawn and blinked at Cassie as she more or less passed out on the table. That was...unexpected to say the least of things. He shook his head, a little dismayed to find that he was really tired all of a sudden. Then again last night hadn't been peaceful and he'd been up since some point this morning and...
His thoughts trailed off as he leaned back and closed his eyes. Maybe Cassie had the right idea about that sleeping thing.

But there weren’t any small animals, and no one’s ears were quite that well tuned.
