Karolina appeared to be uninjured but Xavin had neglected to ask. "Are you unharmed?" She asked, not wanting to respond to the android without an accurate answer. The Skrull buried any thoughts of her destroyed home world. It was not the place.
Karolina fumbled her bracelet back onto her wrist. It wasn't that it took effort to remain lit up, but she could actually feel when objects passed through her glow, and it was really distracting. If they were going to be hauling debris, she didn't want the constant sensation of ants marching over her body.
"I'm fine," she said, probing her split lip with her tongue and reaching up to touch a spreading bruise on the side of her face. She'd fallen when the first blast hit the tower, hit her jaw on the kitchen counter. "Entirely self-inflicted, I promise. What about you?"
"I am fine. I'm sure the Avengers have medical supplies if you need them." Xavin should be quiet, Karolina had said she was fine. They should help the others.
Nico glanced towards the Leapfrog, which Kevin had disappeared into, then at Karolina. "Maybe you should sit the cleanup out," she suggested, going over to her friend. "It's not anything the rest of us can't handle, and you were slinging yourself around pretty hard back there."
"Surely you know how to pick up after yourself," Kristoff smirked at the Vision. "We're not playing soccer. Ung!"
Cassie had grown involuntarily before smacking the back of Kristoff's head, causing him to hit the ground. "...Oops." She paled. "Sorry, I didn't mean to do that." She helped Kristoff back up to his feet. "Sorry," She repeated, back to normal size.
"It's nothing." Kristoff mumbled. At least compared to his arm and nose, which was stinging from having his head hit.
The Vision ignored Kristoff Vernard, which was probably the better plan over all. Although the idea of picking up another piece of the rubble and flinging it at the boy's head was quite tempting. But Cassie would be upset.
Although it was rather flattering that she had smacked Kristoff Vernard upside the head for being mouthy.
"[In case it had slipped your notice, we are staying in the Tower, Kristoff Vernard.]" he said. "[And while I am sure that the Avengers are calling in people to repair the walls, it would be best if they didn't have to pick their way through the rubble to do their jobs.]"
Cassie toed a piece of debris. "Do you think the building can handle me at a larger size?" Considering she was looking at a large chunk of it, she wasn't sure.
"[...I don't think that I'd risk it.]" the Vision said after a moment's thought. "[You might want to stay your usual size, just to be on the safe side. I think that we'll be able to take care of everything just fine.]" he smiled at her, looking her over for injuries. She had scratches and bruises, her uniform was torn in places and her hair was a mess. She was still beautiful.
Karolina picked her way back down through the Tower. There was plenty of debris littering the floor, so footing was unsteady. She could light back up, but somehow she didn't want to just then. She felt a little more grounded in reality when her feet were on the floor. Just the act of flying itself could be escapism, sometimes.
"I'm going to go look for Molly and Victor," she'd told Xavin before leaving the roof. "Do you want to come along, or..?"
She had a pretty good idea of where Molly would go, and therefore where Victor would be bound to follow: the kitchen. After a fight like that, Molly's stomach would be echoing with growls. She wondered idly if any of her pancakes had survived the attack.
Xavin followed Karolina, keeping her distance. She was an intruder amongst Karolina's friends, and she would not interrupt. It gave Xavin room to think.

"--and then I found out that the best donut shop is in Bemidge, Minnesota."
"No way, ese. We've got a donut shop with a huge donut on its roof. A. Huge. Donut. Obviously the best."
"Really? No accounting for taste."
