Kristoff ignored his work for the beautiful blond. "Of course." Cassie didn't seem to want to talk to him earlier, and the change was welcome. He noticed her fidgeting. "Is something wrong?"
Kristoff paused. Vision's words were not something he wanted to remember, especially considering how the fight ended. "He insulted my mother." He replied curlty.
Cassie blinked. How anyone, especially Vision could be stupid enough to insult someone's murdered mother was beyond her. "He what?"
"I don't want to say it again." Kristoff said.
"But- that's not- Vision wouldn't do that."
Kristoff's mouth twisted into a frown. "Really? I think maybe you should reevaluate that judgement."
"But- you didn't do anything to provoke him?"
Kristoff paused again. Lying to Cassie would be no good. "I may have... irritated him." Kristoff said. "But I certainly didn't intend to fight him." And lose.
Cassie stopped herself from rolling her eyes. "Kristoff, please, please try not to 'irritate' my friends." She said. "They don't know you the way I do. And no, I'm not excusing Vision. But just, in the future, please at least try to get along with them."
