Billy chanted as he walked through the eerie, gloomy forest. He actually wanted a lot more than that, but finding someone… finding Teddy… would be a great start.

Gert woke up leaning next to a tall ragged Maple tree. Her pants were stained with dirt but her body showed no signs of a phsycial attack.

Gert's first reaction to her situation was that it was Chase's idea of late April Fool's joke. Gert called out Chase's name in anger a couple of times.

As she became more alert she conculded that this was not a prank for the following reasons 1)There was no note left by Chase claiming responsablity 2)Chase was not presant to witness her reaction to waking up in a strange forrest and finally 3)Chase and all other Runaways didn't have the abltity to turn the sky red.

Gert's thoughts then turned to Old Lace and she decided to call her dinosaur to see if she was in the same sitution.

"Hey Old Lace come here girl! I promise I will let you eat who ever put us here!"

Billy stopped walking and chanting, cocking his head to one side and turning in the direction he'd just heard a voice come from. He hadn't recognized the voice, but something about this place told him that it was a very bad idea to be walking about alone. "Hello?" he called, his voice echoing amongst the trees. "Is anybody there?"

Cassie was sure she had been walking in circles when she felt oddly drawn in this one direction until she heard voices. "Billy?" She called out. And someone else calling for ... Old Lace? Was that a pet? What kind of name is that for a pet?

Gert heard another voice and yelled "Marco!" hoping the other voices would get the joke and also hone in on the location of her voice.

Cassie was about to yell "Polo" in response when she stumbled into view of the purple haired girl. "Hi."

The girl looked familiar. Actually she looked like one of the runaway kids of the Pride.

"Hey" Gert made a small wave that was neither particularly friendly or cold.

"Your good at this game, I'm Gert. You seen a dinosaur around?"

"Would this dinosaur of yours," Billy asked, loudly enough for the two girls to hear him, "be something resembling a raptor, with brown skin and kind of bluish stripes?"

He took a few steps back as the creature in question sniffed at him.

"Sorry about that, I am my group's resident 'know it all' so panicked brainstorming comes easliy to me. I am sure if my boyfriend is alive and we find him he will sympathize with your plight. So what now?"

“I’m all in favor of the ‘finding other people’ approach, myself,” Billy said. “Followed by ‘finding the way out’, cause if there’s a way in, there HAS to be a way out.”

In the shadows of the trees, something moaned.

“I am also in favor of us getting off the ground and away from any more Romero rejects,” the spell caster said quickly, summoning up a blue, platform like disc and stepping on. “All aboard.”

Gert stepped on the blue disk and Old Lace followed. "When hell is full the dead will walk the Earth,there somebody had to say it at some point. Hey how did you two get your powers anyway? I got the dinosaur from my evil supervillian parents."

"It's kind of a long story, but I'm pretty sure I'm the reincarnation of one of the Scarlet Witch's sons," Billy said with a little shrug as he concentrated on getting them out of the reach of the zombies and above the tree line. "You're one of the Pride's kids, right? I read about you all on the internet."

"Here," Cassie took hold of some ripped pieces of Gert's shirt and wrapped it tightly around the wound. Then she got an idea. "B- Wiccan, maybe you can heal it?"

Ricochet shook his head, walking over to the group of teenagers. He knew the girl and her dinosaur, but they all seemed to be a bit far from LA.

"I'm surprised someone knows me, I thought we were obscure when we were altogether. Is she alright? I mean, the group was wondering what happened to you guys after we beat ultron."

His thoughts were all jumbled together, worse than usual.

"Oh and would you guys happen to know where we are?"

Billy was, he was always happy to point out, rather good at multitasking. “You beat Ultron?” he practically squeaked as he took a closer look at Gert’s wounds. “Okay, hold still… this might tingle a bit.” He held a hand over the scratches and started chanting.

Gert felt a crackling pop of energy across her back. It reminded her of when visted the California Science Center and touched an electrfied piece of metal that made her hair stand on end.

"Hey it's 'what's his face that is so obsure that even Victor doesn't recongize him'. Can you save the day while I flee in terror? That seemed to work last time"
