The Vision was the only one who had been in this room before. Granted, most of the others had been locked in the old Avenger’s training room, but this one was…neater. Cleaner. Not filled with broken stuff

"Uh...at the risk of sounding a total non fanboy geek here...who's that and would does Cap mean 'even alive'?" Tommy whispered from his space between the two wide-eyed fanboys. Billy was drooling, he'd swear on it.
"More importantly, does this mean we can get out of this alive now that he's distracted Cap?"
"You forgot already? Hello, I left my costume in the open at the mansion for you to find Steve. I mean you should have realized that meant I was back. I found a nice place in the woods and have been training. The only reason I'm not six feet under, or in a Kree battleship is a certain red head."
He paused and saw the silver haired boy talking.
"Dont you know its rude to talk when other people are speaking in front of you. I'm Clint Barton, one of the first Avengers."
Tommy rolled his eyes. Oh yay. Another big time Avengers Adult to tell them what to do, lecture him on respect for authority, and turn Billy and Teddy in to babbling idiots.
"As far as we can tell, he's supposedly the son of Captain Marvel and Skrull princess Anelle." Captain America said. "The Super-Skrull came after him first, but then the Kree showed up and the whole thing turned into a huge mess."
Cap paused. "Also, the woman who raised him was killed by the Super-Skrull. We're not sure how well he's dealing with that."
"Anyway, we talked to both sides and they both agreed to back off - for now. But considering how eager both the Kree and the Skrulls were to get their hands on him, I'm not sure how much we can trust that agreement. Again, we can get more people to come along with you. But I think that the kids really need to get out of here - they're going stir-crazy and driving everyone else stir-crazy as well. And these kids did take out Kang, apparently, so who knows what they can do in the face of an attack on one of their own."
Field Trip? Oh, joy...well, at least they wouldn't be out in a crowd. Crowds still made him twitchy. Well, Hawkbird, Hawkeye, whatever he was called certainly just made Kate's day with that bow. And Vision and Cassie remembered him already. And he totally gave Billy and Teddy another someone to fanboy over. Which meant He and Eli were going to have to be the intelligent ones and be suspicious. He glanced over at Eli. Well, he hoped he wouldn't be alone on the intelligent one front. After all, this guy just said he was back from the dead. Which was not normal. At least not for him. Yet.
Billy didn't take long to get his gear. After all, he didn't really have much in the way of gear. But he had enjoyed taking the time to fanboy with Teddy about being able to go outside and train with Hawkeye.
He let the phrase run through his head again, just enjoying the way it sounded to him. Outside with Hawkeye. It was getting to the point where he didn't think he remembered what the sun actually looked like.
Clint nodded to Steve and startedheading for the door.
"I left my glider in an ali out back. I'm going to go put it on the hangar on the roof. You guys meet me up there and we'll go from there."
With that Clint walked towards the back and went down the stiarcase, we felt like being as fast as possible. THe kids would hopefully be waiting for him when he got back up there.
It's true. He'd been mostly watching his friends train between practicing katas on the training dummy before him. No one wants to be shown up and after studying Jeet Kune Do, Tae Kwon Do, boxing, and any street fighting anyone would teach him since he was twelve...He just had to remember to walk into a fight and keep his head. Otherwise, it would be like those punks in the park where Grandpa had to save his butt and that could get someone killed.
They'll listen to Cap because he's more new and more recognized as knowing what he's doing. One day, Eli hopes to be that guy who just has it that much together, but like hell he's saying that to the guy that tried to betray his family's legacy twice now.
He also discovered that his eyes were watching Kate's form more than the others. Just admiring her technique. Seeing if there was ways to help her hone it a little more. That's all.
"Eli, get a move on!" Billy called cheerfully. "Or do you think staying inside the rest of the day with Captain America is a great idea? Me, I'm going outside."
Eli conciders this for a moment and then he follows his team while dialing his cell.
"Yeah, Grandma. Hey, got some feild training with the other Captain Am- Yes, Grandma. Yes Grandma. Just Captian America then. Fine. Yes, I'll be out. Yes, I'll watch my mouth. No, if it takes up a school day, I'll make it up and wash the car. Thanks. Bye."
Back to Billy. "So, are we being surprised on this or do we know where we're going?"
"Oh like they ever tell the kids where they're being taken." Tommy casually walked forward. Perhaps he was going into snarky bastard mode...but he really didn't care. New adults had shown up...back from the dead apparently. That put the walls back up.
But there was safety in numbers, so he made sure to stay near at least 2 of his teammates at all times.
"He's not our babysitter, he's Hawkeye." Cassie said, several steps behind the boys. She had mostly been ignoring the conversation (actually it mostly went over her head, she was quickly alternating between energetic to exhausted). "He's more of a bad influence than anything." She grinned.
"I don't think we actually need any more bad influences," Billy said speculatively. "But it'll be nice to have someone to point to and say 'It was his idea' who isn't one of us." He ran a hand over his hair, loosing the battle to get it to do anything like lay flat.
Tommy began tapping his foot. He was getting bored. "So where is he then? And we can definitely use him as an adult scapegoat, right?" He stopped tapping his foot when he realized he was moving at low superspeed and looked far too much like a certain animated rabbit for comfort. Arrrrgh!!! Waiting sucked!
"He'll be here soon, so cool your jets, Zippy." Billy said with a hint of a grin. "Not all of us move at the speed of sound. Or however fast you actually move."
Cassie could practically feel the awkwardness and, from some, hositility. She looked at Tommy. Some speedsters could fly, temporarily, by spinning around or something, could he do it? If he could Cassie didn't think he looked very ready to volunteer that information. She turned to the others. Well, Hawkeye definitely knew Vision could fly. And Billy and Teddy, hmm...
She nudged Billy with her foot. "You could do that, right?"
"Yeah. I'm a flyer." Billy said, so totally not commenting on Hawkeye as a young Avenger. He'd been following the archer's career for at least six years, and there was no way in hell he was going to make any comment on his age. At all. Not happening. "In fact, I could probably fly us all there, if I needed to."
"Come on, let's go before Cap changes his mind or Iron Man comes up and tells us that we're not allowed to go." he said, removing his shirt and passing it to Billy as he grew a set of wings. Mm, more surface area for sunlight. Yesssssss. He stretched his wings wide, careful not to whack anyone else upside the head with them.
And there was the thing that made the day so much better. Shirtless Teddy.
"Just point me in the right direction and I can get the rest of us there." Billy said earnestly to Hawkeye, tying Teddy's shirt around his waist so he wouldn't loose it.

"Hawkeye?" he asked. "What are you- How are you even alive?!" His face broke out into a grin. "Not that I'm complaining or anything."
Cap caught a mention of the "night at the ice cream shop" and raised his eyebrows.
"Want to explain why you're back now and not oh, say, a week ago?" he asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

Outside training with Hawkeye.
This was just too cool.
