"[I can ride on the outside - or fly on my own - if you think that it will be too crowded inside.]" the Vision said, squashing the urge to find one of the Leapfrog's access panels and start poking around. The Avengers hadn't had the time to look too deeply into the workings of the Leapfrog when they had been storing it, so the Vision only had bare-bones knowledge of the Runaways' transportation. "[And if I'm flying, I can carry at least one more person.]"
Surely there would be time for checking out the Leapfrog at some other point. He would have to ask Chase Stein's permission, of course, since it seemed to belong primarily to him, but the Vision didn't have any problem with that.
Cassie normally would have waited at least two seconds before taking Vision up on his offer, but the tension in the Leap Frog was beyond palpable and she'd rather not stick around. Kristoff would just have to deal with it. He'd been a bit annoying recently anyway.
"I'll go with Vision." She immediately volunteered.
Karolina fastened her seatbelt, completely aware of how bumpy a ride they were in for. What else would you expect from a vehicle dubbed 'Leapfrog'? Some of their passengers hadn't seemed to catch on to that point of interest, and merely stood or leaned against walls. She hid a smirk.
"I'm pretty sure the 'Frog has smoke alarms and sprinklers," she told Rowena. Back when they'd been living out of it there had been a few fires as Chase got the hang of the controls. Hidden panels in the ceiling had dumped a baking-soda-like substance on the flames. As funny as it would be to see a person coated in it, Karolina sensed that Rowena was not that person.
"Bugger and blast." Rowena sighed, snagging a seat and struggling with the buckles... which lead to a bit more creative swearing promising doom on the inventor of seatbelts. She finally got the harness to click into place and muttered, "Thank all the gods, no windows."
