If you got it, kudos to you.  I can't hate.  If you're like me and still waiting, well let's have a toast to the mediocrity that seems like the effort put up on our behalf.  I think sometimes being poor and black really puts a label of "ignore" on me.  It is as if some want me to embrace that life is hopeless.  Those who know me, and I don't give ( Read more... )

I vaguely remember the Sanford and Son story. I'm no longer frustrated either. My friend and I seem to be in the same boat, despite selecting direct deposit we will likely be getting paper checks. There's some craft fine print on the IRS website.

I will say, had I known whet I know now, instead of paying what I owed, I would have let the amount be deducted from the $600.00 instead of paying it directly and shorting myself.

I got that "we don't give a fuck about you" feeling after doing so...

Perhaps the universe is saving the $$$ for me. One can only hope.

LOL I wanted to use the money to get my breaks replaced. I will do that with my regular paycheck after I get a few things hammered down. For now I'm "forgetting" about trying to have a dependence on this check. I set myself up for the fall with this.
