Why I Am So Happy

Besides torturing characters?  By finishing the art criticism class I've completed the requirements for the art history component for my MFA program.  I am more than pleased to not have to sit in another art history class.  Lets see if I can at last get some pro writing classes in here.  In the summer its American Modern Writers, which will be blah ( Read more... )

You're more sane than I am. I end up crushing on half of my characters. *They* torture *me*!

I love a lot of my characters. I used to wonder *why* they have such a charmed life in my stories. They are so kind and sweet. I so am loving the torture.

Sometimes it's simply something to make them uncomfortable. Other times I'm simply cruel. Still love them though, and hope they can pull out of the disaster.

You know, it's weird. I don't have trouble torturing mine. I kinda like them even more when they go through the shit. It makes them harder, stronger, and better. Maybe that's why I like Joss Whedon so much. He loves to write a scrappy underdogs that you can really cheer for.
