I'm supposed to be writing a script for my portfolio.  Took a break to write something for my LJ.  Nothing really much here to see other than today was ok, and I am happy that i have seven pages for script.  I'm tired, but I can get two more pages, and that means a lot to me. 

For those not in the know, I run four blogs.  Yes, I keep myself divided.   I have been thinking of creating a dedicated blog, and keeping it specialized. I discussed with a couple friends about closing out blogs, or even restructuring them.  Here is my tentative plan.

What I have learned today about myself and about writing, is to not spend a great deal of time trying to describe the story, mini-series, novel, etc. (what it's about), but to write it out and see what happens. I have a lot of ideas I let fall to the wayside because I don't let my ideas flow. I try to restrict them, and that feels wrong ( Read more... )

Dusted off some old files and found some stories worth looking over and improving.  I found several comic book scripts, short stories, and three novels.  For once I am not overwhelmed, but enthusiastic about the possibilities of improving my writing skills.  I know I can tell t he story, but I’d love to increase my wealth of character development ( Read more... )

A while back, YABS was putting together an anthology of writers and artists.  I grabbed one of my sequential pals, and we were going to create one hella good story.   I wanted my friend to have a choice for what to draw, so I wrote two short stories.   One contained a female protagonist.  The other contained a male lead.  Both were supernatural ( Read more... )
