Suddenly,with the first harbingers of Spring, the world has gotten very busy. We were in the doldrums of winter, and now, out of the blue, everything's happening at once. Its like everyone woke up from hibernation, and decided to get going. Anyone else notice this?

For about 5 days I have had the thing that's going round. Husband had it for 2 weeks, and is recovering. The sore throat is really raw, and I'm coughing up ghastly things. The acupuncturist looked in my ears and said the infection is starting there too. I tried to stave it off when husband had it. At least I didn't get the conjunctivitis. I'm now ( Read more... )

I really don't like receiving gift lists, particularly if they are unsolicited and or lengthy. Its okay to post them on Amazon(if you really must). When I receive them I feel that a person doesn't feel that I can make good choices on my own, and perhaps, hasn't liked my choices in the past. Loved being with the grandkids, and my big kids yesterday. Enjoyed the Oscars, though they have a lot less glamour than they had in the past. I think I guessed pretty well, except that I thought Felicity Huffman might win, and I was surprised that the pimp song won even with modified lyrics.
