Hey yall. Today was pretty uneventful. I woke up, i started to read a book (mississippi mud) and i started a 500 piece puzzle...oh yea i ate along with doin all that. True that matt, I know that thats why it happened but it still sucks and it has caused so much devastation. How have you and your family been?

I'm doin pretty good. I'm in Tallahassee, Florida and I hate my new school. I talked to my dad today(he is at Keesler) and he was goin to talk to my mom about it.

I think that some day in the far future we'll realize why Katrina happened. We can't possibly see why now, but even bad things bear their fruit. Hopefully it's just setting people up for a tomorrow that's looking forward too. Just try and see it that way. Perk up my asian brotha, and gimme a call some time. =P

Thanks Ash, so much has happened lately, and I havent slept in my own bed in like two weeks or somethin like much less been in my own house and i jus feel exhausted mentally and physically. But it could be worse i could be one of those people on a overpass in new orleans who will never sleep in their house again. Its jus, like i said so much devastation surrounds the coast and south now, and i know that in the end only good can come out of all this.A newer, bigger, better south is comin....but the old south is the one that held some of my best memories, memories made with some of the best frends that i will, no, THE best friends that i will ever have. And sure you can say 'dont worry you can make new memories' but the people that i want to make them with arent here anymore, sure i will always have the memories that we have already made together even though the places we made them might not be there anymore...but i would like to make even more, you know what i mean? Dont worry bout me ash, ill be fine in time. Thanks for your concern ( ... )

I know exactly how you feel. Just appreciate the memories that you have and the people you had the chance to know, because the alternative is something far more undesirable. That's what I do when I start to feel a smidge emo.

You should also eat a lot of ice cream. It tastes really good, but you knew that already. Haha.
