Dissapointment...Denial...Acceptance

I am completely and utterly dismayed today. I cannot believe Germany lost. LOST. AGAIN. to SPAIN. Grrrrrr, what IS it about them that makes my German boys choke???? I can't even say it was unfair. The Spaniards played an exceptional game against Germany, even if they hadn't scored, I'm pretty sure the only way Germany could have won is through luck

I feel like we have a little Persuasion club going. It's kind of lolarious, but I LIKE IT. IDEK. I need to reread it though. It's been too long.

ONE MONTH UNTIL YOU COME HERE. It's going to be awesome, and I swear you will get used to the heat. Errrr, maybe not, it's pretty unbearable right now. BUT HOPEFULLY you won't hit the 100's w/ heat index like we've had this week. More importantly, if it does, hopefully you will have full access to AC. I am going to melt pretty soon if they keep cutting the AC out mid-afternoon.

Whatever. We must find time when you can escape from your friends so that we can hang out. I have ~ideas!~ This is exciting!

I was totally rooting for Germany, but are you really dismayed? I wasn't surprised, even though I 'betted' that Germany would win ('cause I wanted them to win). The Spanish team is stronger than the German team. They were predicted to be the WC winners for months. I was just hoping that luck would be on the German side.

I'm still going to root/hope for a Netherlands win just because :p

My own fic project is only halfway through (and will be a quarter of yours -- I'm just not prolific). I'm going to write today because I worked 14.5 hours on Tuesday and 9.5 hours on Wednesday. I'm giving myself a break while everyone's at this conference thing today. Still going to work but I will take very looong breaks.

Heyy!

I never actually watched any of the Spain games intently. I felt like they were a strong team, just not necessarily stronger than Germany, but I could be wrong (and biased). Overall though, I'm glad that it's Netherlands vs. Spain. These two teams definitely did not rely on star power to carry them through and it paid off. Good for them, they both deserve to be there, but I'm still rooting for Netherlands...fingers crossed

Germany was kind of a different team yesterday. I think they probably had too much respect and fear at the same time.
But I knew it before, I totally had the feeling they wouldn't win. The whole time.
Anyway, I think I'm rooting for the Netherlands now.

Can't wait for your new TM story ;)

They definitely did not play to their fullest potential and Spain took advantage of that...good for them but I'm still rooting for Netherlands :P...truly by default!
