After the boys of summer have gone

Oct 03, 2010 02:46

Sawatdee! I haven't posted anything for over two months, so I have a lot to make up for. Like the highlights from the last four SC episodes for instance.
So here are the highlights (or what I consider to be the highlights) from August and September Shonen Club. Quite a few, as you will see, so I will keep the descriptions rather short this time.
All videos are AVI format, all at 1024 x 576 resolution. Since Mediafire gave me a lot of trouble uploading recently, many of them are on Megaupload this time. I tried to upload the larger files to mediafire tough, because they have no Download-limts for free users.

Ho! Summer

"Ho! Summer", the intro song for the episode on 08.06.2010. Performed by B.I.Shadow, Snow Prince Gasshoudan, Hip Hop Jump, Morimoto Shintaro, Masuda Ryu, Takada Sho, Casey Anderson, Yasui Kentaro (♥) and Kyomoto Taiga (and Sugihara Saeki and Watanabe Haruki in the back). Special guest and "Junior Leader" Takizawa Hideaki joins in during the song (and is greeted with a deep bow by Kikuchi Fuma as he entered the stage).

Natsu - Medley

The Summer-Medley consisting of "Summer time" performed by Koyama with Masuda/Takada/Anderson/Kyomoto/Yasui (♥) , "Keep the faith"  by Nakamaru with Mis Snow Man, "Brand new season" by Kis-My-Ft2, "Ina Zuma Venus" by A.B.C-Z and "Bouken rider" by Shonen Jump and lots of juniors doing typical summer outdoor activities like playing with footballs, jumping on pogo sticks and waving around giant-sized fans (huh?). B.I.Shadow are joining in at the end showing their juggling skills.

Fight all night

Great performance of "Fight all night" by B.I.Shadow. Backdancing/singing: Watanabe Haruki, Masuda/Takada/Anderson/Kyomoto/Yasui (♥) and some others.

Kareha no Kage

Takki performing "Kareha no Kage" with A.B.C-Z and Kis-My-Ft2 in the back.

Question? Medley

Special medley by Question? . First part is performed by Question? alone (and with Goto on Leadvocals, wich he should do more often!), the second part has Sanada Yuma and Masuda Ryu on vocals, the third part is performed by Yasui Kentaro(♥) and Kyomoto Taiga and the rocking finale is performed by all of them together (Yasui seemed to have the most fun in this part). Great stuff!!

One in a million

Yamashita Tomohisa performing his #1 Single "One in a million". I'm not the biggest Yamapi fan in the world, but I have to say I like this one very much (much much better than "Loveless"). Sounds a  lot like as if from the early 90's and very, very catchy .

Jr. ni Q

Theme is "Summer". On the board: Kurita Kei (I have never recognized that he has such a cute way of pronunciation), Tanimura Ryuichi, Okada Aoi, Muarata Rikito (yay!), Sanada Yuma,Kento Senga and of course Koyama and Nakamaru, who talks as much as the guests here.

Talk part

Talk part with Hey!Say!JUMP about SUMMARY. One year ago I would have made a big fuzz about this one, because Ryutaro is talking, but nowadays it's pretty normal that he doesn't remain silent when on TV. Wich is a good thing!

Shinku

HSJ performing "Shinku". Very good performance and nice choreography. Plus it's a very nice song!

Talk part

Short Talk part with Shonen Jump after the "Shinku"-performance. Very remarkable diffrence between Yuto and Yuya here. While Yuya looked like he had  finished a marathon a minute ago, Yuto made the impression he just came from a walk in the park.

Sha La La

Ending Song of the 08.06 Episode is "Sha La La" by Takki performed with B.I.Shadow, Hip Hop Jump, MSM and Masuda/Takada/Anderson/Kyomoto/Yasui (♥). Kis-My-Ft2  A.B.C-Z and Snow Prince Gasshoudan are joining in later. VERY nice ending!

Intro-Medley

Intro to the 08.13.2010 Episode is a medley starting with "Can't take my eyes off of you" performed by Masuda/Takada/Anderson/Kyomoto/Yasui (♥). During the performance B.I. Shadow, Mis Snow Man feat. Kikuchi Fuma (lol!), A.B.C-Z and Kis-My-Ft2 are entering the stage to give short dance performances. The second part is "Summary" by Hey!Say!JUMP with Hip Hop Jump, Sugihara Saeki and all of the others mentioned before in the back.

Summer-Medley

Summer-Medley performed by Morimoto Shintaro. In the first part he is supported by the older part of Snow Prince Gasshoudan, Masuda Ryu and Takada Sho, in the second part by Hip Hop Jump, in the third part by the younger ones of Snow Prince Gasshoudan and lots of other juniors and in the finale ("Love together") again by Hip Hop Jump and the older ones of Snow Prince Gasshoudan. Good news: Shintaros spirit, wich was absent in the July Episodes is back again with full force. Speaking of being back: Inoue Mizuki, my favourite Mini Snow Prince is also back again after the July break, altough this couldn't be descibed as "break", because he was in the drama "Natsu no Koi wa Nijiro ni Kagayaku" (the drama that starred Matsumoto Jun in the lead)  and in a commercial with Aiba Masaki, so he was quite busy. In the latest issue of Myojo Mizuki was featured with a solo page, wich is quite an unusual thing for a chibi. I wonder what's coming up next for him.

Talk part

Quite entertaining talk part with Hey!Say!JUMP prior the performance of "Smile Song".

Smile Song

"Smile Song" by Hey!Say!JUMP. The performance starts with Chinen accompanied by B.I.Shadow and Hip Hop Jump, but without the other HSJ members.  I think this was a good idea, because it gave Chinen that little extra spotlight he deserves for this song. The HSJ members are joining in drop by drop (wit B.I.Shadow and Hip Hop Jump still backing up). The choreo was not as spectacular as in "Time" or "Shinku" but it fitted the mood of the song perfectly. The only disappointment : Ryutaro didn't brought his tambourine along!

Words of love

"Words of love" by Takizawa Hideaki with Question?. A nice combination if you ask me. Mis Snow Man are backdancing.

Kansai Jr. ni Q

Theme is "Summer". The Kansai juniors have really grown on me in the last couple of months, and the Kansai Jr. ni Q Segment is now something I look out for. In this case especially because of Shigeoka Daiki and Takemoto Shinpei. The only thing I have to complain about is the camera operator, who seems to love the zoom function of his camera too much and the fact that one of my Kansai Favourites, Mukai Koji, is never present on the board.

Nami

Ending song is the quite melancholic "Nami" performed by Koyama, Nakamaru and Shonen Jump. B.I. Shadow , Juniors , A.B.C-Z and Kis-My-Ft2 are joining in towards the end.

Osaka Intro Medley

Intro-Medley from episode 09.03.2010 . Shigeoka Daiki starts the medley by welcoming the audience of Osaka. Hey!Say!7 West , B.A.D., BOYS, Veteran, Shadow West and lots of Kansai juniors are performing the first part, Yara Tomoyuki gives a dance performance, Shonen Jump are performing "Hitomi no screen" and Yokoyama Yu sets the final point with "Wonderful world".

Introtalk

Introtalk with Koyama, Nakamaru, Yokoyama Yu, Shonen Jump and very enthusiastic juniors in the back.

Dash

Ooops..wrong preview picture. Next try:

"Dash" performed by Shonen Jump with Nakata Daichi and Hamada Takahiro on guitars and Kiriyama Akito on bass. Everyone here seems to enjoy the performance very much. You can see how much Yuto is satisfied to present his song that way to an audience. You rock, Yuto!

Shadow West Medley

I love this one. The songs, the performance, everything. It was announced as "Shadow West Medley", but in fact this was more of a Mukai Koji Solo. Wich isn't a bad thing at all. I love his (quite unartistic) voice, his way of moving (altough every time I watch him I'm expecting Muay Thai kicks and hits to coming up next), his outfit and...everything else. Did I mentioned that I love this performance?

Kansai Jr. ni Q

A highly entertaining Kansai Jr. ni Q. And finally Mukai Koji is there, too. I especially enjoyed his thai "counter-attack" on Sugimura Lennons english phrase. For whatever reason I also liked the boy in the red shirt that was saying "Glücklich" (German for "Happy"), altough he doesn't  made a very "glücklich" impression, but was more like "I better don't move too much or I will be eaten by the lion behind the camera". But  at the end he seemed to be "glücklich" giving his goodbye-waves. Maybe because the segment was finnished.  I don't know who he is, but he was also in the "Shadow West Medley" above. Hope to see him again.

Anata ni tegami kakimasho

"Anata ni tegami kakimasho" is Shigeoka Daiki x Takemoto Shinpei. Very cute! Especially when Shige was imitating Shinpeis voice.

Kimi no wana dake  maboroshi demo kamawanai

New song by Nakayama Yuma and Hey!Say!7 West. Great! Hearing the first few seconds of the song I kinda expected Kim Wilde or Sandra to enter the stage, but yeah..I like that sound. Great performance, catchy song!

100% Yuuki

The evergreen "100% Yuuki" is the ending song of the 09.14.2010 Episode. Performed by Nakayama Yuma + HS7 West with ..pretty much everyone else (B.A.D., BOYS, Shadow West, Veteran and Shonen Jump).
Great ending of the Osaka shows. I just wish to see the Kansai Juniors not only twice a year on SC, but also on the "regular" Shonen Club episodes...especially Hey!Say!7 West and Shadow West ! (and the boy who was "glücklich", too....)

And in other news: It was reported that my beloved Kenta Suga will star in a drama called "Space Dog". I haven't found any information about it yet except for this photo:

(Click for full view)
As far as I know it will start airing in about two weeks already, but maybe I misunderstood something (my japanese sucks!). Anyway...this picture is motivation enough for me to look out for it!
What I know for sure is that Kenta will star in the movie "Sakuradamon-gai no hen" wich will open on October 16 in japanese cinemas. This movie also features Kato Seishiro.
Speaking of Kato Seishiro, more details of  "Nintama Rantaro", the movie I look up for the most in 2011 (besides of "Gantz") have been revealed: Because of the connection of Johnnys Entertainment to the Anime version of "Nintama Rintaro" (Ya-Ya-Yah, Hey!Say!JUMP and NYC provided songs to the soundtrack to it over the years) I was speculating about to see a Johnny as one of the sidekicks to Seishiro (For example Inoue Mizuki who would be a perfect fit for the role that is now played by Hayashi Ryo), but it seems this isn't going to happen. The main cast will be the following:

Clockwise from the top: Kimura Fuuta, Kato Seishiro (Lead actor), Hayashi Roi, Susuma "I'm in every third japanese movie" Terajima and Miura Takahiro (Who wil also be in "Space Battleship Yamato"). It was also reported that Kato Seishiro will reunite with is Co-star from Tenchijin, Mizoguchi Takuya (the one pictured in the right bottom corner) in this movie, but I haven't found an official  confirmation of this (Some of you may know Takuya not only from "Tenchijin" but also from the outstanding "Kill"-Episode "Kodomo Samurai" released in 2008.)

And that was it for today. Laa goon!
