I agree, I've traveled around Canada before on multiple occasions, and while I've had my down moments due to the depression or asperger's I don't think they've ever stopped me from still having a great time. ^_^
GO GO GO. Think of it this way: if you stay home, nothing will change. If you go, something will happen. Even if it's not good - which, come on, once in a lifetime experience; there's bound to be something good happening there - at least you went. At least you'll be able to say, "I did that." So GO!!
*glomps* you know it's just that attitude I want to maintain ^_^ I know I'll probably have a little freak out when the ticket is bought and its not just theory but going to happy or I've wasted my cousin's money. But [and I only recently reminded myself of this] I am incredibly stubborn and equally determined when I set my mind to something, and as much as I listed going to Holland as a goal in life on the meme awhile back. Without Alwin's offer I doubt it would ever happen ^_^
See? You'll be fulfilling a goal in life! And if being determined is a strength of yours, then definitely live up to it. Why deny yourself the chance to be awesome? :D
^_~ Right now the only thing that might keep me from going, is the flight costing more than my cousin thought. He said he found a round trip ticket for just over $300. I've been looking at flights today, and all the ones I've found that were under $400 had nearly $400 in tax that still needed to be added, so insanely more expensive than they look.
I don't want him to feel he has to pay that much money for me to visit, I've asked him to be sure, I'm really hoping he's found a way around that ^_^ as I'd love to see him again!! it's been so long!! not since the mid 90s
