Hee, I love that movie.

Well, would you like my list of favorite chick flicks? I don't know how you feel about those.

Love Hitch, tolerate How to Lose A Guy in 30 Days, can't think of any others I've seen off the top of my head. Though I'm not a huge fan of the term itself because a lot of the industry-wide assumptions it implies about audiences, creative talent, etc.

I would certainly be interested in any that pass your "YOU HAVEN'T SEEN STAR WARS???" test ;)

Oh, I suppose another prominent example of one I've seen would be Bride & Prejudice, which I absolutely loved.

Tee, I love all of those. K. These are not in any particular order.

1. *Notting Hill
2. *You've Got Mail
3. *When Harry Met Sally
4a. *Pretty Woman
4b. *Love Actually

These four five are probably the greatest chick flicks ever made. EDIT: I forgot about Love Actually and am too lazy to re-number.Beyond that, there are the ones that I really feel every female person should see, because they are lovely and make you feel good and sometimes make important points about relationships and what it takes to be happy. I'll attempt to put them in order of priority, but different movies fit different moods, so it's sort of hard to prioritize them ( ... )
