Suddenly I'm not excited at all.

Le Mans always sucked real bad. Either was it rain, drunk fans or other stuff, I can't recall a good race from that track. Even if it comes to 24h races I've always liked Spa or Nürburgring more.

And now that Bati will not race tomorrow and is in pain makes me all meh about it.

I can fully understand you because I feel the same. I even skipped the MotoGP qualis today, I couldn't take it not seeing Alvaro out on track :( I tried to get myself in a "but hey, we can have a good race!" but it obviously didn't worked.
Normal person would be stuck in bed for weeks after breaking a collarbone, yet he tried to ride and hurt himself even more :( I, too, want to hug him, but it will probably bring him even more pain.

His reaction during qualifying after seeing it on tv was rather strange, but he still manages to look so strong.
