I was gonna post something earlier, but at this time of month I would probably end up whining with no particular reason. I listened to 100 Oceans all the time and felt like crying, just because that song moved me so much. Then my mood suddenly changed, so I started watching Disney couples... er, films. Well, I obviously began with my holy three:

Oh yeah, I remember that I was always surprised when I've seen you saying that Disney's expressions aren't expressive. And that manga expressions are more expressive! I was like: "erm...what?" XD Despite my love for manga, I always thought that Disney's animations are much superior.

To me, it wasn't a matter of "more" and "less", 'cause I could accept the fact that different styles have different ways of showing expressions. I just wasn't very fond of anything which was at least a little realistic, probably because I completely suck at it myself. Well, now I still do, but my tastes have broadened for the last few years. And my ambitions too, a bit.
And when I was a kid, I loved drawing Ariel :D I suppose she'll always be my little goddes of expressions XD
