Who: Yagami Taichi & Takenouchi Sora Where: In Odaiba, near Sora & Hikari's place When: Early Tuesday evening Summary: Having the Courage to face your Fears...
Sora in comparison was feeling aq little carefree. She hummed happily to herself as she quickly tied back her hair, pulling the kettle off the stove and pouring the boiling water into her mug to make a soothing tea. Blowing on the cup to cool it down, she perked as she heard the door ring.
Her eyes widdened as she realised it must be Taichi. Quickly setting the cup on the counter, Sora quickly walked to the door, calling out ahead of her. "I'm coming!"
Quickly swinging the door open she flahsed Taichi a huge smile before her eyes darted to Agumon. She took a step back so her long-time friend could enter, whispering quietly. "Oh, did you want to let him sleep in my room? I'm sure it would be more comfortable for him."
"Sure...he's not that heavy these days!" Taichi noted, flashing a smile back at Sora before making his way inside, occasional mumblings of "Chocolate..." coming from the Child Digimon. "And, it'd be better for him to use something that's not my back anyway."
Letting out a small laugh, she led the way to her room, careful to step quietly before moving aside so Taichi could go ahead in and lay the digimon on her large, fluffy bed. Waiting for the other chosen to come back out, she quietly closed the door before turning to Taichi and smiling up at him. "Would you like some tea? I just finished boiling a pot for myself.<3"
Taichi briefly wondered if Sora's bed had always looked like this as he put Agumon down, exiting her room and smiling lightly at her. "Sure; I'm in the mood for something sweet to drink. Honey, cinnamon, or a mixture of both?"
Letting out a small laugh, she shook her head. "No, Tailmon's been very polite. It's nice cooking for everyone with Hikari. a lot less stressful." Sipping her tea, she leaned back happily.
Taichi laughed lightly himself, reminded that not all Digimon acted like Agumon did. He glanced over at Sora, watching her lean back for a moment before going on.
Nodding contently, she pulled a leg up under her. "I have. I was thinking of asking Hikari-chan and Miyako-chan if they all wanted to get ready for the concert together here. I thought it might be something fun for us girls.<3" She folded her hands in her lap and looked slightly wary, "you don't think I would hurt any of the boys feelings do you?"
Taichi had to admit - a girls' night out might benefit Hikari in a number of ways, the main one being that she'd be reminded that she wasn't alone. At hearing Sora's question, he couldn't help but laugh a bit before tossing in his 2 yen.
"I think Daisuke would get over it, if you're worried about the boys' feelings." He took in a quick breath and let it out while eyeing her with a half-joking, half-serious look.
"...There is something on my mind, actually." He quickly took a few sips of his tea to try and calm down.
The light didn't even reach Sora as she studied Taichi's face, trying to decide how bad the news might be. Taking a breath she could feel her stomach starting to drop and twist in her stomach. Fearing the worst, her hands clung to one another as she tried to calm her suddenly jumpy nerves.
"Oh...well, you can take your time? Maybe the tea will help?" She looked unsure, her own tea sitting forgotten on the table infront of her.
Taichi took a few long sips from his tea, turning to fully face Sora before taking in a deep breath, flashing her a gentle smile and replying.
"For as long as we've known each other - even if I never admitted it to myself much when we were younger, but our battles against Diablomon, the one a few years after that with Apocalymon and the World Tour we had together before that, but separately showed me - I've had...
"I've always loved you, Sora." The light from Taichi's Digivice was pretty bright by now, and it was somewhat visible in his left jacket pocket.
