So, I've finished all of my culinary classes. I haven't quite graduated yet, I have to report my 'externship hours'. Fortunately, my new employer is signing off on my externship hours, so I have just one job that is both paid AND credit ( Read more... )

Rock on!
I used to work the 10 hour day, 4 hours a week, and before long, the 10 hours felt normal-- to top it off, my weekend got longer.

wow, that's pretty intense, feeding old people...

I would imagine having to work around obstacles, such as timing and specific diets is an opportunity to learn doing with less (resources)... any day nobody dies on your watch is a good day..

Well, I don't deal too directly with the residents, so there's only a handful that I would really notice if they were still with us. There are a few who I see out in the halls when I'm wandering about, but no part of my job is direct contact with the residents.
