I completely agree -- it's disingenuous for them to bitch (though not expected). Still, Pelosi made a point at the start of the new congress that things would be different. Now, between Massa, Rangel, and a couple others, as well as David Patterson (who people will lump in there too), they're running the risk of alienating voters if they don't make corrective action fast.

Yes, I was pissed at Rangel and that whole situation. However, I think the Massa thing is a not so much a Pelosi/Dem problem. He is new, I think before more "evidence" could be had, he and the GOP would had used his expulsion more as political smoke than are now. Massa is a troubled man, it is not so much about the ethics to me. The GOP were going to use him no matter what Pelosi did. They threw him out because he was against the Health Care Reform. There is inside corruption with the Dems. Pelosi did not act fast enough. Blah blah

I disagree with Massa on policy issues that he's espoused, but I have to hand it to him for being rather genuine about the other stuff.
