It wasn't required reading in any class that I remember -- I simply read insatiably -- I tend to go through 3-5 thousand pages a week on a slow week ... three separate summers of speed reading courses as a wee, wee lad ... helps that ...

but anyway ... you would probably like it -- but the book paints a pretty bleak view of things ... just keep that in mind
