I recently downloaded Firefox at the recommendation of others, including my roommate, and having been impressed by the features that it has over Internet Explorer, I have made it my default browser.  I like the fact that it isn't integrated into Windows for one thing.  Also, I like the built in search bar which contains Google, Answer.com, Yahoo!,

Internet Explorer... not to be out done, added tabs to their latest version. Though i don't think I can change the skin.....

wow, i'm impressed it took you THIS LONG to try out firefox! I've been using it since it came out.. a longtime Mozilla fan before that.

Firefox has a lot of cool extensions you can put in, my favorite is "Adblocker", which will allow you to knock out ads and ad-frames for good just by right-clicking on an add and picking "adblock". there's a lot of other sweet extensions as well

In his defense, there's just never seems to be enough time in the day to sit down and fiddle with something new. I still don't have my firefox configured like I want it...I miss being able to make PDFs out of webpages like I could in IE *makes sad panda face*
