Today, June 21, is the first official day of the 2006 Summer Season! Of course, many of us feel the effects of summer long before mid-to-late June, possibly as early as late-April or early-May, but it certainly has been hot these past couple of weeks. My roommate lives in Phoenix.

He's probably miserable right now, but THAT'S WHAT HE GETS for mocking our Michigan winters! Mwahaha!

LOL, yes, as Laura tells me, Phoenix is supposed to be the "sweatiest city in America," with its adults being able to fill an olympic-sized pool every three hours! Crazy, isn't it?

Still, I enjoy a nice and cool winter...I'm from New Jersey and we had some big snow/ice storms when I was growing up, like the Blizard of '96 (around 2 1/2 to 3 feet).
