When people misbehave to a certain extent (gross disrespect, hitting someone, fighting, etc.) we fill out an incident report that their parents have to read and sign and, in some cases, call their parents to inform them of the situation. After about 2 of these we call the parents or talk to them in person about the camper, but after about 3 or 4 of them, we consider suspention for a certain period of time (which depends on what kind of things they did), which can vary from a couple of days to up to a week or so.

The "final straw" for the camper that got suspended last Tuesday was that he hit another camper, so he was suspended until this past Friday, and there was another girl who hit a staff member, but since she had a lot of past incidents she was suspended for a week.
