(no subject)
So I'm in full video game mood again. I finally decided to finish Shadows of Colossus. I'd left the game at 8 colossi defeated since I first got it and just never got around to beating it til now. But you know sometimes I think Wandered is a super hero (i.e. Horseback riding while standing on the saddle and shooting a bow and arrow perfectly) and some times I think he is a total idiot (i.e not being able to walk two feet with out tripping over himself.) I mean WTF random clumsiness. I guess I can identify with that at least. Technically I haven't actually finished it yet but I'm running around killing the glowing lizards and finding the fruit trees while randomly exploring before I finish the final colossus. Speaking of games I haven't finished; I played FFX again today. I've say this before but I'm at the end of the last area and could beat it at any time but have no motivation since I've already watched s friend beat it and I'm so uberpowered that its boring. I'm doing max damage with capture weapons, WTF. One thing I've learned though is that those Malboros are dangerous no matter what level you are but Auran and Yuna have first strike so it's not a problem. How did Yuna learn Mug before Tidus even learned Steal? Still funny seeing sweet Yuna gangbanging enemies for items. Anyway I think I'll have fun filling out the sphere grid and tweaking my Aeons abilities at least.
I've done something I haven't done in a long time. Lats night I just thouth about random things before going to sleep. I was randomly thinking about Blink. Blink from X-Men. Well maybe not the Blink you are thinking of because some X-Men characters have been remade since I stopped following. I stopped reading shortly after the Age of Apocalypse arch. Not that I didn't love the arch but I was just branching away from comic books at the time. The Blink I remember was a tragic figure. But the truth is I only remember her vaguely. But she holds a special place in my heart as my last favorite X-Men heroine. She was a quiet figure and she was a bit reserved. I vaguely remember her being attached to pet dogboy Sabertooth. Her power was a bit weird in that it was somewhat non-lethal (although later she rips someone apart with it.) She could teleport anything her darts touched. And she died after being in about four books. Sacrificed herself in an attempt to kill some bad guy that was treating to kill the group. She was a strange character and maybe that's what I like most about her. Even had purple skin and a green one piece outfit that had one of those loin cloth things to it. Kind of a green arrow ripoff come to think of it. Weird facial markings check. No pupils check. Lovely. This is all from really old memories so I'm probably way off. I vaguely remember seeing her in a book after that redesigned and reintroduced from an alternate reality so she may still be alive in the Marvel universe. I'll have to google it after I finish writing this. Anyway I'm thinking of doing some fanart of her now. Heh I say that like I actually do art anymore. :P
P.S. I bought a pair of black converse today. I <3 them. I actually bought two other pairs of shoes earlier the week. Some plain Vans and some 'distressed' plaid Levi's (I don't know they seemed like a good idea at the time.)
P.P.S. I've been told I look like a dork, when wearing the black converse, by a friend that hasn't even seen me in then yet. o_O
