Wedding Day Jitters

This wedding thing is scaring me
...it's not the planning.
It's not the exuberant amount of money we are spending.
It's not even the family politics.

I think my biggest fear about this wedding is that I am going to fart. loud. During the mass.

My body is funny like that.

Funniest wedding ever

We had some friends get married in the Catholic church a few years ago. She was very outgoing and has a great personality, epitomized by the fact that when they reached "You may now kiss the bride", she grabbed his ass before kissing him.

This was so usual of her personality that she didn't even realize she did it. Shocked the hell out of his conservative parents. Funnier than anything, and a great way to end a wedding.

I was equally scared (not of farting, but of something going wrong). In fact, something did - we were 20 minutes late starting the ceremony because my Mom didn't have the ringbearer yet.

But no one mentioned that afterwards. In fact, multiple people said it was the most beautiful ceremony they'd ever seen (and I don't think they were just being flattering).

I won't tell you not to worry, but know that you'll be carried through the day on adrenaline alone, and probably have a good time doing it.
